American Secretary of State John Kerry has finished days of separate talks with Israeli and Palestinian leaders about restarting peace negotiations. The VOA's Scott Bobb is travelling with Mr Kerry. Kerry met twice with the president of the Palestinian authority Mahmoud Abbas and three times with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. _______________________Mr Netanyahu says there will be no agreement that endangers the security of Israelis and any agreement, if achieved, will be brought to a referendum of the people. The Palestinian's chief negotiator Saeb Erekat reported that there had been not breakthrough, but said Kerry's diplomacy was important to the Palestinians. He accused Mr Netanyahu of placing obstacles to the diplomatic effort.
