"shower"就是"淋浴","take a shower"就是"洗个澡"的意思.我们也可以说"take a bath."意思是相同的.不过要注意的是,"The bath is ready."可不能说"The shower is ready."因为"shower"是"淋浴"的意思,"淋浴的水已经准备好了"是不合逻辑的喔!
"The bath is ready."意思是洗澡水放好了."~ is ready."就是指某件东西已经准备好了.比如说,"The meal is ready."意思是说"可以吃饭了".
The bath is ready.洗澡水放好了.
The meal is ready.饭煮好了.
