We begin with semi-final action from the Thomas Cup. Chinese Team,taking on the hosts Malaysia for a spot in the finals. And in game one of the race to three China turned to badminton mega-star, Lin Dan.

It was Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia providing the opposition for Super Dan in game one.

Lee had gone five months without losing heading into this match-up but facing the Chinese megastar, it was a different story on Friday.

Lee, slipped early going wide to hand Lin the first point of the match, and after that it was all Super Dan.

These two would go back and forth, and at one point had a 72 hit rally for one point. Lin Dan had game point at 20-16 but Lee Chong Wei stayed alive just catching the back line.

Lee had lost to Lin 13 times before, but never in his home country of Malaysia but all that would change on this day. Lin, taking game one 21-17.

Lin would continue the momentum into the second game, jumping out to a huge 20-8 lead and he put this one away with a great drop shot.

21-8 the final in game two, and a fired up Lin Dan gives China a 1-0 lead.
