Walt Disney Studios has confirmed that "Indiana Jones" is coming back to the silver screen for a fifth film.

迪士尼电影公司已证实，《夺宝奇兵》将第五度登上银幕。



Harrison Ford is set to return to reprise his role as Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones Jr. and Steven Spielberg will again take the helm of the new film.

73-year-old Harrison Ford last appeared in the role back in 2008 in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".

Ford first portrayed Indiana Jones in 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

The four previous Indiana Jones films have brought in nearly 2 billion US dollars in box office takings worldwide.

It's understood the latest installment as yet has no title.

It's due to be released in July 2019.
