the odds

我们经常用the odds来形容“可能性，机会”：The odds of you winning the lottery are extremely low. 你赢彩票的可能性非常低。What are the odds of that happening? 竟然会发生这种事。同义词：chances或possibility。电影The Hunger Game：May the odds be ever in your favor 愿机会永远对你有利
