relations between the Unite State and Colunmbia suffered from many years. because of a incident involving the Republic of Panama.
the revolution succeded and Panama declear it's independent from Columbia.
not until 1921, when the Unite State agree to pay Columbia compensation for it's lost territory, did the relations between the two counties impove.
