The Sound of Music

The hills are alive with the sound of music,
     With songs they have sung for a thousand years.
     The hills fill my heart with the sound of music
     My heart wants to sing every thing every song it hears.

My heart wants to beat
     Like the wings of the birds that rise
     From the lake to the trees.
     My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies
     From a church on a breeze
     To laugh like a brook when it trips
     And falls over stones on its way.
     To sing through the night
     Like a lake who is learning to pray.
     I go to the hills when my heat is lonely.
     I know I will hear what I've heard before.
     My heart will be blessed with the sound of music,
     And I'll sing once more.

The hills are alive with the sound of music, 音乐声回荡在群山之间
     With songs they have sung for a thousand years. 歌唱至今已有上千年
     The hills fill my heart with the sound of music群山把这声音填满我的心房
     My heart wants to sing every thing every song it hears. 每次听到这声音，我的心也想一起歌唱

My heart wants to beat 我的心跳
     Like the wings of the birds that rise 像是小鸟跃升的翅膀
     From the lake to the trees. 从湖边飞到树上
     My heart wants to sigh like a chime that flies 我的心想像钟声那般作响
     From a church on a breeze 从教堂吹至微风
     To laugh like a brook when it trips 像小溪一样回响
     And falls over stones on its way. 像水中落石
     To sing through the night 唱响每晚
     Like a lake who is learning to pray. 像是祈祷的湖那样平静
     I go to the hills when my heat is lonely. 当我孤单时我就去山上
     I know I will hear what I've heard before. 我知道我会听到以前所没有听到的
     My heart will be blessed with the sound of music, 我的心会被音乐中祝福
     And I'll sing once more. 而我会再次高歌
